Friday, Dec. 26, 1997 | 8:35 a.m.

Carolyn Konigsberg, 52, of Potomac, Md.. was walking with her husband about 5 p.m. As the couple crossed a driveway at the Rosewood Grille, a delivery van leaving the restaurant's parking lot struck the woman.

The van was driven by Jeff Weitzman, 39.

The victim's husband, Peter Konigsberg, was not injured.

Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Steve Harney said the Konigsbergs were vacationing in Las Vegas for Christmas.

Harney said details of the accident have been turned over to the district attorney's office to determine if charges are warranted.
