Authorities identify teen who was killed in shooting

A spokesman for the coroner's office said Kinser, 18, died at University Medical Center at 8:38 p.m. Wednesday.

Homicide detective Sgt. Kevin Manning said Metro Police will apply for a warrant today for the arrest of Danilo Legaspi, 36, on charges of murder with a deadly weapon.

Manning said the cause for the shooting is not known.

Kinser reportedly was on a break from his job at the Jack-In-The-Box, 4385 N. Las Vegas Blvd., when a man on a bicycle approached him and the two began to argue.

Police said Kinser was shot in the back of the head at about 3:45 p.m. as he walked away from the scene.
