Frances Burke, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born June 2, 1914, in Jamaica, N.Y. A 23-year resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, James H.; and one daughter, Barbara Pearce of Las Vegas.

Burial will be private. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

DOROTHY MARIE CORROW

Dorothy Marie Corrow, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 12, 1930, in Bridgeport, Conn. A two-year resident, she was a funeral home receptionist.

She is survived by two sons, Charles W. Magill III of Las Vegas and David Magill of Florida; one daughter, Cynitha Martinez of Florida; her mother, Ruth H. Georgia, and one brother, David Georgia, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

JOHN ROBERT DOUCETTE

John Robert Doucette, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born June 21, 1915, in Wellesley, Mass. A 12-year resident, he was a retired carpenter and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; one daughter, Elaine Peterson of Old Lyme, Conn.; one son, Theodore Canosa of Long Beach, Calif.; one sister, Ruby Bolles of Wellesley; one brother, Bernard Doucette of Lewiston, Maine; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were 11:30 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.

WILLIAM JOHN 'B.J.' FRANCISCO

William John "B.J." Francisco, 48, of Las Vegas died Dec. 7 in Las Vegas. He was born March 10, 1949, in Pennsylvania. A two-year resident, he was a truck driver.

He is survived by three daughters, Jeanie Love and Tonya Towers, both of Bristol, Tenn., and Misty Francisco of Crewe, Va.; one son, William John Francisco of Bristol; his mother, Mary Francisco of Southington, Ohio; one brother, Dale Francisco of Mississippi; two sisters, Virginia Higgins of Alaska, and Marlene Tuck of Bakersfield, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.

CAROL GANN

Carol Gann, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 6, 1926, in Tishomingo, Okla. An eight-year resident, she was a retired executive secretary in the entertainment industry.

She is survived by one cousin, Paul H. Schofield of Las Vegas.

ARTHUR PETER HAHN

Arthur Peter Hahn, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 16, 1934, in Chicago. A seven-year resident, he was a federal government civil engineer, a Vietnam War Air Force veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus, International Facility Management Association, Association of American Military Engineers, Chi Epsilon and Signa Tau National Engineering Honorary Fraternity, the Building Financial Committee of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, chair of the education committee, former member of the board of directors, former vice president of governmental affairs and current member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, licensed, by examination, as a professional engineer and a registered architect, held a National Council of Architectural Registration Board Certificate, and held a bachelor of architecture degree and a master of architectural engineering degree.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Jeanne; three daughters, Mary Lay of Darien, Conn., Barbara Coolbaugh of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Karen Briggs of Las Vegas; one son, Peter Hahn of Alta Loma, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.

A vigil service and rosary recitation will be 7 p.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

GEORGINA T. HOLMES

Georgina T. Holmes, 26, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 18, 1971, in Mexico. A 12-year resident, she was a child-care provider at the YMCA.

She is survived by one son, Dominic Greene of North Las Vegas; her mother, Rose Torres of North Las Vegas; one brother, Mike Torres of Henderson; and two sisters, Nancy Venerable of North Las Vegas and Cindy Redmond of Henderson.

ROBERT JESSE HORNE

Robert Jesse Horne, 52, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 9, 1945, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, he was a fence company installer and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; one son, Jesse Horne of Henderson; two stepdaughters, Patsy Barnett of Henderson and Debra Noel of Las Vegas; three stepsons, Richard Lester of Kent, Mich., Larry Lester of Henderson and Robert Lester of Las Vegas; three brothers, Paul Horne and Robin Horne, both of Las Vegas and Joe Horne of Midwest City, Okla.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

AMELIA ANNA HUGHES

Amelia Anna Hughes, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 24, 1921, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A 42-year resident, she was a restaurant food server.

She is survived by one daughter, Amy Hughes of Las Vegas; and one son, Steven Sharp of Morro Bay, Calif.

LOIS LATHAM

Lois Latham, 95, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 30, 1902, in Arizona. A one-month resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Jack Goree of Oklahoma.

Burial will be in Oklahoma. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

WEBSTER MILLER

Webster Miller, 80, of Henderson died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 14, 1917, in Nettleton, Miss. A 32-year resident, he was a retired hotel-casino cook.

He is survived by his wife, Ida L.M.; four daughters, Maxine Malone and Stacey Miller, both of Henderson and Margo Miller and Marilyn Miller, both of Las Vegas; six sons, Webster Miller Jr. and Matthew Miller, both of Las Vegas, Charles Miller of Los Angeles and Clark Miller, Dale Miller and Mark Miller, all of Henderson; and nine grandchildren.

A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

JAMES ERICH MUZIK

James Erich Muzik, 51, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 10, 1946, in Milwaukee. A 20-year resident, he was a dealer at the Four Queens for more than 14 years and a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Jamie of Tampa, Fla., and Tabitha of Las Vegas; one son, Michael of Las Vegas; one brother, Greg Muzik of Kiel, Wis.; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Bill Reinert, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 16, 1932, in Pontiac, Mich. A nine-year resident, he was a retired warehouseman for a tool company and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Christine Pratt of Las Vegas and Gail Gnris of Michigan; one son, Christopher Reinert of Michigan; his mother, Amy Knight of Missouri; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be private.

NICHOLE LYNN REYNOLDS

Nichole Lynn Reynolds, 24, of Henderson died Saturday in Utah. She was born Dec. 20, 1997, in North Hollywood, Calif. A lifelong resident, she was a county clerk and had attended Votech High School in Henderson.

She is survived by her husband, Allen; one son, Tyler Reynolds of Utah; her parents, Steven and Carole Mandelstein, and one brother, Wayne Mandelstein, all of Las Vegas.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the First United Methodist Church, 609 E. Horizon Drive, Henderson. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

DONALD L. ROWDEN

Donald L. Rowden, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 7, 1931, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A 31-year resident, he was a retired Air Force sergeant and jet mechanic and a Korean War and Vietnam War Marine Corps and Air Force veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Michele McCoy and Dorrae Humphrey, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Ellen Sacora of Marion, Iowa, Betty Nestes of Victorville, Calif., and Eleanor; three brothers, William Rowden and Floyd Rowden, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Fredrick Rowden; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 3-6 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

JACK RUBIN

Jack Rubin, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1919, in New York City. A nine-year resident, he was a retired clothing manufacturer, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Jewish War Veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Zona; one daughter, Eleene Gershon, and one son, Gary Rubin, both of Camarillo, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Lynn Feldman of Encino, Calif.; one stepson, Jay Gardens of San Pedro, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Grace Sansabrino, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 25, 1910, in Scitico, Conn. A five-year resident, she was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia S. Lavanhar of Las Vegas and Carol S. O'Sullivan of Fairview, N.C.; one son, James J. Sansabrino of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Earl Reginald Sexton, 58, of Las Vegas died Dec. 14 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 4, 1939, in Murrayville, Ill. A five-year resident, he was a vice president at Mobil Chemical.

He is survived by one sister, Sally Parkhill of Libertyville, Ill.

WALLACE A. STEVENS

Wallace A. Stevens, 78, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born June 21, 1919, in Detroit. A seven-year resident, he was a truck driver and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Arthur Stevens and Clare Stevens, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Sandra Loree of Fort Worth, Texas, and Nancy Chapman of Oklahoma City; one brother, Earl Stevens of Ann Arbor, Mich.; one sister, Isabelle Stevens of Montclair, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren.

CHRISTINE G. VAKALIS

Christine G. Vakalis, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born Jan. 8, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A 27-year resident, she was a retired hotel chef's assistant and a member of the Culinary Union.

She is survived by two sisters, Jane Papazis of Las Vegas and Theresa Manning of Springfield, Va.; one brother, George Vakalis of Keene, N.H.; and many nieces and nephews.

DARLENE MARIE WATKINS

Darlene Marie Watkins, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 10, 1941, in Blythes Dale, Pa. A 12-year resident, she was a cage cashier and assistant general manage at the Stage Door Casino.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Watkins of Pittsburgh and Patricia Chaney of Las Vegas; two sons, John Watkins Jr. of Las Vegas and Ronald Watkins of Arizona; one brother, Carmen Candelore of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

DOTTIE WHITE

Dottie White, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 7, 1919, in New York. A 44-year resident, she was a teacher's aide.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Breon of Ash Fork, Ariz.; three sons, Walter White, Donald White and Richard White, all of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
