Rose Blane, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 19, 1924, in Indiana. A five-year resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond; three sons, Barry Blane, Monte Blane and Mark Blane, all of Indiana; a daughter, Karen Kulinski of Illinois; and a brother, George Benedict of Indiana.

Services will be at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Ind. Hites Funeral Services handled local arrangements.

MARY DICARLO

Mary DiCarlo, 85, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 10, 1912, in Pittsburgh. A 24-year resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda DiCarlo of Las Vegas; a son, John DiCarlo of Pittsburgh; a sister, Rosie Melfi of Pittsburgh; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorial contributions to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be at Palm Valley View Cemetery.

JOE DONNAMARIA

Joe Donnamaria, 37, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 21, 1960, in Kearny, N.J. A three-year resident, he was a mover.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Donnamaria of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Toni Donnamaria of Las Vegas and Roseann Donnamaria of Nutley, N.j.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

KITTY FARBER

Kitty Farber, 90, of Mountain Springs died Thursday in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was born May 29, 1907, in New York City. A Mountain Springs resident since 1955, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Sydney Farber of Bayamon, Puerto Rico; two sisters, Fay Slackman of Miami Beach, Fla., and Ida Gitlow of Del Rey Beach, Fla; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was scheduled at 1 p.m. today at Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

WILLIAM J. HARRIS

William Harris Jr., 55, of Las Vegas died Nov. 30 in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Louisiana. A 37-year resident of Las Vegas, he was a porter.

He is survived by a son, Michael Harris; two brothers, Benjamin Harris and Leroy Britton; two sisters, Mary Francis and Margarette Smith; and two grandchildren.

Services were held Monday at Desert Memorial Chapel.

KARA SILL HUEY

Kara Sill Huey, 24, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born June 30, 1973, in Vineland, N.J. An eight-year resident, she was a restaurant manager. Active in the Atlantic County, N.J., 4-H organization, she was named 4-H queen. She raised and showed rabbits on the state and national level, rode on the Nevada/California show circuit and was secretary of the Las Vegas chapter of the American Saddlebred Horse Association.

She is survived by her father, Brent Riley of Seattle; her mother and stepfather, Joan Huey and Michael Kane and two brothers, Brian Huey and Geoffrey Huey, all of Las Vegas; her grandparents, John and Carolyn Sill of Lexington, Ky., and Guy Huey of Massillon, Ohio; step-grandparents, Mike and June Kane of Las Vegas; an uncle, Dale Huey of Massillon; and numerous cousins and other relatives.

Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Christ Church Episcopal. Burial will be private.

HELEN F. KORZENIEWSKI

Helen F. Korzeniewski, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 7, 1936 in Chicago. An eight-year resident, she was a machine operator.

She is survived by four sons, Anthony J. Korzeniewski of Illinois and Robert J. Korzeniewski, Lawrence E. Korzeniewski and Ronald R. Korzeniewski, all of Las Vegas; two daughters, Deborah S. Houser and Christine O'Connor, both of Illinois; a brother, Anthony Sansone of Illinois; four sisters, Anna Callahan, Stella Laas and Jose McCauley, all of Illinois, and Jane Hiller of Florida; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services are private. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society handled arrangements.

DONALD JOSEPH LEAL

Donald Joseph Leal, 51, of Las Vegas died Thursday at Lee Canyon. He was born Sept. 28, 1946, in Artesia, Calif. A two-year resident, he was a mortgage broker.

He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Franklin Leal and Jason Wesley Leal; two brothers, Robert C. Leal and Gary F. Leal; a sister, Luann M. McDonald; and two grandchildren.

Services are private. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society handled arrangements.

MAURICE W. MARINO JR.

Maurice W. Marino Jr., 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 2, 1934, in Utica, N.Y. A two-year resident, he was a retired automobile salesman and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his son, Jeff Marino of Las Vegas; and a brother, Pasquale Marino of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Visitation is at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Affordable Cremation & Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., with services at 6 p.m.

GLORIA MARY OWEN

Gloria Mary Owen, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Terre Haute, Ind. A 43-year resident, she was a retired cook.

She is survived by a daughter, Marcy Reed of Edwards, Miss.; a son, John Morgan of Las Vegas, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Michael Brandon Leon Packer, 6 months, of Henderson died Nov. 27 in Las Vegas. He was born May 9 in Henderson.

He is survived by his mother, Melissa R. Packer of Las Vegas; and grandparents, Roberta Andurs of California and Daniel L. and Cynthia M. Packer of Las Vegas.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the SIDS Foundation.

Visitation is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., with services at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Paradise Memorial Gardens.

ELLA LOUISE RUSHING

Ella Louise Rushing, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 31, 1909, in California. A 62-year resident, she was a teacher with the Clark County School District, a member of First United Methodist Church, the Needlers and the Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Rushing of New Mexico and Roy Rushing and Alan Rushing, both of Las Vegas; a sister, Gladys Ward of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Bunkers Mortuary. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bunker Chapel. Burial will be at Bunker Memory Gardens.

DELL H. STOUT

Dell H. Stout, 57, of Las Vegas died Nov. 27 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 25, 1940, in Rockville, Utah. A 50-year resident, he was an iron worker and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth H. Farnsworth; a daughter, Veronica Haight of Salt Lake City; three brothers, Phil Stout of Henderson, Lynn Stout of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Roger Farnsworth of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Toni Goman of Las Vegas, Lana Culjis of California and Lisa Sewell of Arizona.

Services are private. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society handled arrangements.

WHEELER

Richard Henry Wheeler, 74, of Las Vegas died Dec. 2 at a local hospital. He was born May 8, 1923, in New York. A 22-year resident, he was an automotive industry salesman and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Nancy Hunt of Amherst, N.Y.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Safe Harbor Hospice in Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bunkers Mortuary. Burial will be at Quaker Road Cemetery in Scottsville, N.Y.

ED WHITE

Ed White, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1932, in Meridian, Miss. A resident for more than 20 years, he was a tax consultant and a Korean and Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita; a daughter, Joyce Pate of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mildred Horton of East St. Louis, Ill., and Juanita Hemp of Flossmoor, Ill.; one grandchild and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Wednesday at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Unity Baptist Church. A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

RICHARD LEE WOLCOTT

Richard Lee Wolcott, 49, of Boulder City died Wednesday in Boulder City. He was born June 10, 1948, in Havre, Mont. A two-year resident, he was a caregiver and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by a son, Ramey Wolcott of Republic, Wash.; his mother and stepfather, Mickey and Less Rummer of Boulder City; a sister, Judi Wolcott of Las Vegas; a brother, Roger Wolcott of Spokane, Wash; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Palm Mortuary handled arrangements.
