Rafael Antonio Ardon Martinez, 44, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. A 16-year resident, he was born April 27, 1953, in El Salvador.
He is survived by his wife, Ana Ardon; one son, Edwin Alexander; two daughters, Sandra and Nurialisette; one brother, David; one sister, Dinora; and three grandchildren.

EUGENE V. CALDERWOOD II
Eugene V. Calderwood II, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1939, in Hubbard, Ohio. A four-year resident, he was a cook, a Navy veteran, a member of the Moose and Pool League, both in Cheyenne, Wyo., and the Culinary Union.
He is survived by his wife, Annie M.; three sons, Paul Port Jr. of Pahrump, and George Port and Mark Port, both of Denver; one daughter, Deborah Berland of Albuquerque, N.M.; one sister, Carol Jenkins of Sunnyvale, Calif.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Neptune Society of Nevada, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, Building 5, is handling arrangements.

LOUISE M. CARLTON
Louise M. Carlton, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 15, 1915, in Omaha, Neb. A 55-year resident, she was a retired cook.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Fox and Carol Garcia, and one son, Carl Carlton Jr., all of Las Vegas; five sisters, Frances Messina and Angeline Santo, both of Omaha, Mary Seidler and Sarah Broyles, both of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Carmella Peelo of Las Vegas; one brother, Anthony Gagliola of Mesquite; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Boulder City Cemetery.
WILLIE COOK
Willie Cook, 39, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 30, 1958, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a musician.
He is survived by seven brothers, Arthur Lee Cook of Perris, Calif., Curtis Cook Jr. of Los Angeles and Leon Cook Sr., Wallace Cook, Robert Cook, Johnny Ray Cook and Freddie Cook, all of Las Vegas; and five sisters, Shirley Cook, Sherry Collins, Genora Cook, Jackie Cook and Jeanette Cook.
Visitation will continue until 4 p.m. today in Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Bunker Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
KEITH EVERETT DETAR
Keith Everett Detar, of Hemet, Calif., died Nov. 14 in a Hemet hospital. He was born July 25, 1925, in Kansas. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a former 15-year Las Vegas SUN printer and part owner of several family newspapers, including the Lafayette Sun in Lafayette, Calif., a World War II Coast Guard veteran, a charter member of the USS Covington-PF56, enjoyed prospecting and piloting small planes.
He is survived by three daughters, Sheila Box of Hemet, Karen Lewis of York, Neb., and Susan Wedergren of Bellevue, Neb.; one son, James Detar of Scotts Valley, Calif.; three sisters, Mary Wilkson of Pueblo, Colo., and Shirley Morgan and Barbara Cooper, both of Concord, Calif.; two brothers, Wayne Detar of Las Vegas and Bob Detar of Lompoc, Calif.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The Cremation Society of Riverside County, Hemet, Calif., is handling arrangements.

M.W. "Bill" Dunbar, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. He was born Feb. 5, 1932, in Apple River, Ill. A 14-year resident, he was a slot foreman and a member of Moose Lodge 619.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; two daughters, Tara Roskoph of Dubuque, Iowa, and Robin Cortez of Galena, Ill.; two sons, Lawrence Dunbar of Rockford, Ill., and Mark Dunbar of Vienna, Ill.; one brother, Ronald Dunbar of Hazel Green, Wis.; two sisters, JoAnne McCaslin of Independence, Mo., and Barbara of Dubuque; and nine grandchildren.

Judith Virginia Edge, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born May 26, 1912, in New York City. A two-year resident, she was a restaurateur.
She is survived by two sons, William Moses Edge and Richard Stanley Edge; one daughter, Patricia Merze Wright; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Frank A. Flenoir, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 19, 1940, in Gadsden, Ala. A 16-year resident, he was a retired Air Force technical sergeant, a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners.
He is survived by his wife, Renee C.; two daughters, Francine Flenoir and Sabine Lamay, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Johnny Flenoir of Gadsden; two sisters, Mary Williams of Gadsden and Juanita Smith of Hempstead, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-6 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Unity Baptist Church, 545 Marion St.

Juanita Gonzalez, 37, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 25, 1960, in Brownsville, Texas. An 18-year resident, she was a hotel-casino hostess.
She is survived by one daughter, Alma Leticia Gonzalez, two sons, Asael Gonzalez Jr. and Jonnie Gonzalez, her parents, Eusebio and Antonio Rojas, one brother, Jesus Rojas, and one sister, Maria Guadalupe Monarres, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in St. Anne Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Beatrice Harris, 61, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in Tacoma, Wash. She was born Sept. 8, 1936, in East St. Louis, Ill. A 24-year resident, she was a 17-year cashier at the Aladdin hotel-casino, a member of the Culinary Union Local 226.
She is survived by one sister, Annise Curtis of North Las Vegas.

Bertha S. Leonard, 77, of Kingman, Ariz., died Monday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 11, 1920, in Glendale, Ariz. A 22-year resident, she was a retired government court clerk.
She is survived by two sons, Gordon L. Leonard and Richard E. Leonard, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Kenneth Short and Virgil Short, both of Kingman, and Lloyd Short of Redding, Calif.; three sisters, Grace Neal and Joyce Cannon, both of Kingman, and Dorothy Fox of Placerville, Calif.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow at noon Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.

Mary A. Marek, 38, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 20, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio. A four-year resident, she was a four-year MGM hotel-casino pastry chef, a former five-year Disney World employee and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York.
She is survived by her parents, Raymond and Mary Marek of West, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Raymond J. Jr. and Delta Marek, and one niece, Somer Thomas, all of Fort Worth, Texas.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 4 p.m. today in the Mountain View Seventh Day Adventist Church.

George Henry Meads, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 10, 1925, in Fordyce, Ark. A 34-year resident, he was a pantry worker at the Nevada Test Site.
He is survived by his wife, Malene; two sons, Patrick H. Meads and Terry C. Meads, and one daughter, Sharon K. Meads, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, James Meads of Las Vegas and Son W. Meads of Michigan; six sisters, Vera Meads of Wisconsin, and Versie Meads, Thelma Byrd, Martha Thrower, Lillie Belle Meads and Eulla Meads-Gregory, all of Arkansas; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Friday in Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Saturday in the First African Methodist Episcopal Church. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Homer David Munerlyn, 90, of North Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 27, 1907, in Arkansas. A resident for more than 35 years, he was a retired hotel porter.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie L.; six daughters, Jacqueline Reynolds, Merderces Green, Zenora Williams, Zolia Green, Arlinda Green and Peggy Green, all of Las Vegas; six sons, Charles Green, Johnny Green and John Edward Munerlyn, all of Las Vegas, Willie Munerlyn and Curtis Munerlyn, both of Houston, and Edgar Charles Munerlyn of Flint, Mich.; one sister, Lula Daniels of Houston; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Olga; and one brother, Robert Scheel of Bradenton, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; one daughter, Lisa Swanky of Atlanta; two sisters, Joan Simpson of Manitoba and Janet Jans of British Columbia; and three brothers, Bob Swanky and Jim Swanky, both of Alberta, and Albert Swanky of British Columbia.

Pauline Martha Wimberly, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 5, 1917, in Oklahoma. A three-year resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Melvin Wimberly of Las Vegas and Edward Wimberly of California; two daughters, Marian Peace of New Mexico and Barbara Baird of Texas; four brothers, Elzia Caywood of New Mexico, Ernest Caywood of Arizona, Robert Caywood of Texas and Freddie Caywood of California; five sisters, Mable Wolf of Texas, Wilma Scales and Doris Widner, both of New Mexico, Evelyn Green of California and Mona Lee Ackers of Washington state; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
