IDS Creative Communications integrates public relations within an organization's overall marketing plan, which can include advertising, direct mail and promotions.
* Richard Fitzpatrick of Henderson has joined Vista Care as executive director of Nevada Operations.
Fitzpatrick previously served as vice president of Nathan Adelson Hospice and Foundation in Las Vegas.
* Craig Fritsinger has been named special projects administrator for Del Webb's Southern Nevada operations.
Fritsinger was previously senior purchasing agent for Del Webb's Terravita development in Scottsdale, Ariz.
* Michelle Ross has been named assistant controller for Del Webb's Sun Cities Las Vegas.
Ross, who was previously accounting manager for Del Webb's corporate operations in Phoenix, will oversee all accounting operations for Del Webb's Sun City Summerlin.
* Lisa Marks has been promoted to vice president of human resources at Haycock Petroleum Co.
Among Marks' responsibilities will be training, benefit programs and OSHA compliance.
* Moe Ehsan has joined Sullivan & Knott Inc., a Las Vegas-based business and investment real estate firm.
Ehsan will head the firm's multi-family services division.
* Bob Wattenbarger has been hired as an account executive by Nextlink Nevada, a business communications company.
Wattenbarger has more than 40 years of experience in the telecommunications in industry, including more than 31 years working for telephone companies in Las Vegas.
* Frank Kostelac has joined Nextlink Nevada as senior manager of new business development.
Before joining Nextlink, Kostelac was a senior architecture planner in Sprint's Complex Regional Networks area.
* Barbara Rassmussen has joined Saxton Inc. as commercial property manager.
Joel St. Germain has been named director of property management.
Combined, St. Germain and Rasmussen have more than 25 years of real estate management experience.
* Todd Henderson has joined Desert Springs Hospital as director of surgical services.
Henderson will oversee all surgical services including the operating and recovery rooms.
* Susan R. Joostberns has joined Desert Springs Hospital as volunteer manager.
Joostberns will be responsible for coordinating the hospital's volunteer program, which includes 115 volunteers throughout the hospital and its ancillary buildings.
* Larry S. Amburgey has been named controller of KTNV Channel 13, Journal Broadcast Group Inc.'s ABC affiliate station in Las Vegas.
Amburgey joins KTNV from WSYM, the Journal Broadcast Group's Fox affiliate in Lansing, Mich., where he served as controller since 1986.
* Eric Maiss has joined Game Data Inc. as president.
Maiss was the former general manager of Gaming Systems International of Las Vegas and director of technical resources for Casino Data Services.
* Will Case has been promoted to technical recruiting manager for the Matrix Group.
Case will be responsible for market analysis, development and personnel recruitment for Matrix Group clients. He will also oversee the continued development and expansion of the Internet recruiting program.
* Steven Frieson has joined Boyle Engineering Corp. as assistant regional director of transportation, a position created to meet continued growth in all facets of transportation engineering.
Frieson has more than 14 years of experience in the design and management of transportation projects.
* Richard Bruttig has been named branch manager for both the Los Angeles and Las Vegas offices of Valley Crest, a landscape and site construction company.
Bruttig will be responsible for both offices' entire spectrum of field operations. He will oversee several major casino assignments in Las Vegas, including Phase II of the Caesars Palace expansion.
An 11-year employee of Valley Crest, Bruttig was most recently operations manager for the offices in San Diego and Orange County, Calif.
* Robert E. Leidig Jr. has been named director of Nevada operations for Oltmans Construction Co.
Leidig was most recently director of hotel-casino operations for Nielsen Dillingham Builders.
