Local gymnastics coach Don Spencer is previewing the start of classes at his new Go For It Academy in southeast Las Vegas with an open house from 3-7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Developing a state-of-the-art, 20,000 square foot multipurpose facility, Spencer's school will offer classes and personalized instruction in gymnastics, Kindermusik, Tae-Kwon Do, Young at Art and aerobics. Fall classes start Sept. 2. Among the unique elements at the school located at 1000 Stephanie Place are the largest loose-foam training pit in the state, the largest tumble track in the western U.S. and the only facility in Nevada with a bungee-spotting rig.
