University police bust nets tens of thousands worth of goods

They're calling it one of the biggest busts in the school's history.
The items include as much as $35,000 worth of surgical gear taken from Washoe Medical Center and other businesses.
Also in the take is computer equipment, construction tools, jewelry, chemical hazard manuals, pencils and pens.
The raid was prompted by a call to Secret Witness.
Robert Nemitz, 28, was charged on Thursday with 10 counts of burglary or possession of stolen property. He's being held under $62,000 bail.
University police officer Dave Osowski said the tip came as investigators were piecing together receipts from a Sparks pawn shop.
He said the recovered goods filled two pickup trucks and could come from as many as 50 separate burglaries in the university area during the past year.
