Six schools still under construction

Eleven new schools are opening this year, but five high schools and one middle school won't be ready until sometime between September and January. That means students scheduled to attend those schools will have to share a campus at other schools.

Students will stay on double sessions until their schools are finished.

With a projected enrollment this year of more than 192,000 students, Clark County is one of the nation's fastest-growing school districts. The district hired 1,400 new teachers this year.
