James Tucker Jr., 51, an employee of the Night Beat magazine, was arrested Thursday and charged with pandering, living off the earnings of a prostitute and possession of a controlled substance.
Police said Tucker promoted and solicited into prostitution an undercover detective posing as an adult entertainer. Tucker took money from the detective as his "cut" of the prostitution act.
He was arrested at his office.
