The Las Vegas Thunder expanded its roster to 12 players by re-singing free agent enforcer Rhett Trombley and adding forward Tracy Egeland, the team announced Wednesday. Both were one-year deals with undisclosed monetary terms. Trombley has played for the Thunder parts of the past three years, including 44 games last season. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound right wing recorded four goals and three assists with 199 penalty minutes before being traded to Syracuse of the American Hockey League for center Alexander Semak. Egeland spent 1996-97 with Huntington of the East Coast Hockey League, tallying 36 goals and 27 assists with 156 penalty minutes in 43 games. He is 6-1, 180 pounds and 27 years old.
