Remember to attend memory workshop

In the beginners' class, 1-3 p.m. Sept. 6, participants will learn how to arrange and preserve keepsake photographs. An intermediate class will be 1-4 p.m. Sept. 24.

The workshops provide valuable tips in scrapbook organization and design, as well as photo-album maintenance and storage.

With some instruction, most amateurs will be able to transfer photos from boxes to a professionally styled presentation album, enhance the photographs with simple graphics on the pages and add captions to set a mood.

The Creative Memories will also present some of the tools used by professional scrapbookers, such as high-quality pens and acid-free paper.

Participants in the workshop are requested to bring several photographs. The class fee includes research information, a refill page and handouts. For advance registration, call 565-2121.
