‘Party of Five’ star at Motown

Gewitt, who appears on television's "Party of Five," will speak about the importance of education through reading.

"Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul" contains personal, inspiring stories by teens across the country. Among the contributing teens are Melissa Joan Hart and Jennie Garth. Bookstar will be on hand with copies for purchase.

Books also will be donated to Nevada Homes for Youth, a teen safe-haven and crisis-intervention program. Founder and executive director Ron Moore will be on hand with teens from the organization to promote teen motivation and education.
