CARL CARROLL ARGINTAR
Carl Carroll Argintar, 68, of Las Vegas, died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 22, 1929, in Bronx, N.Y. A four-year resident, he was a member of FRAT and many other organizations for the hearing impaired.
He is survived by his wife, Lila; three sons, Roy S. Argintar of Adventura, Fla., John C. Argintar of Fairlawn, N.J., and David Kadin of Redondo Beach, Calif.; one daughter, Jeanne Borges of Guam; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the family residence. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
RITA BARNETT
Rita Barnett, 79 of Las Vegas, died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 17, 1918, in El Paso, Texas. A 32-year resident, she was a retired hotel housekeeper and a member of Culinary Union Local 226.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Femia, and two sons, Richard Barnett and Michael Barnett, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Catherine Talmage of San Francisco, and Anne Marshall of Victorville, Calif.; one brother, John Andrews of Modesto, Calif.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-8 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

FRED BURNS
Fred Burns, 77, of Henderson, died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Boston. A 42-year resident, he was a retired owner-operator of a drapery business, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Teamsters Local 14.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; one son, Wayne Burns, one stepson, Keith Levinson, and one stepdaughter, Lisa Oestry, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Leonard Bornstein of Los Angeles, and Joseph Bornstein of Sarasota, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until noon services Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be noon Sunday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
DONALD GENE CRANE
Donald Gene Crane, 71, of Las Vegas, died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 17, 1926, in Corry, Pa. A 20-year resident, he was a retired Navy veteran and a member of the Elks.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Lee Crane and Michael Lee Crane.

MERYLE GARY DOCKEN
Meryle Gary Docken, 50, of Las Vegas, died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1946, in San Diego. A nine-year resident, he was a butcher at the Hilton and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Norvella; three sons, Jeff, Jason Kjos and Eric Crook; two daughters, Shannon Young and Shelly Kjos; one sister, Sandy Poynor; and six grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
MORRIS J. DUKE
Morris J. Duke, 60, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 9, 1936, in Heber City, Utah. A 30-year resident, he was a 30-year sheet metal worker at Nellis Air Force Base and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Maxwell of Manteca, Calif.; one son, Veon Duke of Las Vegas; three sisters, Elouise Bell of Spanish Fork, Utah, Wanda Hardman of Roy, Utah, and Annette Reid of Orem, Utah; one brother, Eugene Davis of Duchesne, Utah; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Utah.
EARNEST CARL FARRIS
Earnest Carl Farris, 64, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 1, 1933, in Success, Ark. An eight-year resident, he was a machinist for a brass manufacturer and an Army veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Mary E. Dippner, Carla Holland and Monica Clinton, all of Las Vegas; two sons, Carl Farris of Las Vegas, and Michael Farris of Illinois; eight brothers and sisters; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. today in Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services were 1:30 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
ROSEANN FOX
Roseann Fox, 39, of Las Vegas, died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 1958, in Roundup, Mont. A 34-year resident, she was a gaming cashier.
She is survived by her parents, Vavi and George Fox, and one sister, Danna Gilbert, all of Las Vegas; and one brother, David Fox of Fayetteville, N.C.
Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 8 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

KATHY GALLAGHER
Kathy Gallagher, 53, of North Las Vegas, died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 3, 1944, in Pittsburgh. A six-year resident, she was a manager of a medical firm.
She is survived by her husband, John; one son, Sean Gallagher of North Las Vegas; two daughters, Mary Gallagher and Michelle Gallagher, her parents, Dorothy and James Kronz Sr., and one brother, James Kronz Jr., all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 4 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
WILLIAM GREEK
William Greek, 85, of Las Vegas, died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 8, 1911, in Ohio. A 20-year resident, he was a liquor store salesman and a veteran of the Merchant Marines.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian; three daughters, Sharon Ellis of Las Vegas, Christine Neugebauer of Ohio, and Victoria Morris of Arizona; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Dorothy E. Hanzelic, 72, of Las Vegas, died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 25, 1925, in Meigs, Ga. A 20-year resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Mayris Coffman and Gerladine Holdstrom, both of Las Vegas, and Linda Percell of California; three sons, Andrew Hanzelic, Steven Hanzelic and Jimmy Hanzelic, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Edna Zeiglar of Thomasville, Ga.; one brother, Louis Bennett of South Carolina; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Betty Ann Jazwinski, 76, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 31, 1920, in Bartlesville, Okla. A 17-year resident, she was a retired purchasing agent for glass molding makers.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Richardson of Las Vegas; one brother, Clint Webber of Emporia, Kan.; and one grandchild.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

'ABBY' S. MALDONADO
Elfreide "Abby" S. Maldonado, 69, of Las Vegas, died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 31, 1928, in Germany. A 37-year resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Michael A. Maldonado, and one daughter, Terry L. Maldonado, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Elsie Kulmann of Germany; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
JACK B. NINTEMAN
Jack B. Ninteman, 66, of Lakeside, Calif., died Monday in Lakeside. He was born April 10, 1931, in Los Angeles. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a retired general supervisor in the construction industry, a Eucharistic minister, a member of the Christian Family Movement, the Holy Name Society, the PTA, Share the Food program and others such as the Cursuillo Movement.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene; four sons, Luke, Matt, Mark and John, all of Lakeside, Calif.; five daughters, Louise Laff of Descanso, Calif., Beth Pangonis of Henderson, Clare Ninteman-Byrd of Santee, Calif., and Sara Reeder and Patty Wade, both of Lakeside; and one brother, Dean Ninteman of La Jolla, Calif.
No local services are scheduled. Lakeside-Santee Funeral Chapel, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity or extend a helping hand to someone in need.
ARZELL 'TEX' OLIVER
Arzell "Tex" Oliver, 75, of North Las Vegas, died Wednesday in North Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 23, 1921, in Caddo, Texas. A 57-year resident, he was a retired business agent for the Culinary Union and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Billie L.; one sister, Lou Dean Powell of Pasadena, Texas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday in Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Sunday in Bunker Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
FRANK R. PERILLARD
Frank R. Perillard, 66, of Las Vegas, died Thursday in a local health care center. He was born Sept. 17, 1930, in California. A one-year resident, he was a purchasing agent for a glass manufacturer and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna; one son, Mike Perillard, and one daughter, Debora Palmer, both of California.

CHAD PORHOLA
Chad Porhola, 26, of Las Vegas, died Wednesday. He was born April 23, 1971, in California. A longtime resident, he owned and operated a janitorial and maintenance service.
He is survived by his wife, Autumn; one son, Emery Porhola, and his mother, Cheryl Porhola, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kim Porhola, and one brother, Kevin Porhola, all of Canoga Park, Calif.; and four sisters, Megan Porhola of Idaho, and Melissa Porhola, Rene Rodriguez and Shawna Rodriguez, all of Canoga Park.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Frank Raymer, 79, of Henderson, died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 1, 1917, in Hamtramck, Mich. A 15-year resident, he was a retired machinist for a pen manufacturer.
He is survived by one daughter, Suzanne F. Briggs of Henderson; one son, Robert Raymer of North Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-4 p.m. Saturday including 3 p.m. services in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Frank Anthony Storace, 68, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 14, 1928, in Rochester, N.Y. A 12-year resident, he was a property manager and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife Gloria; two daughters, Kathi Miller of Chino Hills, Calif., and Trudy Hayes of Nashville, Tenn.; three sons, Mark Storace of Sacramento, Calif., Frank Storace and Rick Storace of Rochester; two brothers, Daniel Storace and David Storace of Woodland Hills, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were scheduled for at 4 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
JEANNETTE V. SWEETSER
Jeannette V. Sweetser, 80, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 1, 1916, in Atchinson, Kan. A two-month resident, she was a 22-year accountant for a California school district and a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Ann Doty of Las Vegas; one brother, Mahlon Eugene Van Marter of Aurora, Colo.; one grandchild and four great-grandchildren.
Services and burial will be in California. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Billy Byron Walker, 54, of Las Vegas, died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 20, 1943, in Arkansas. A four-month resident, he was self-employed in the gaming industry.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Byron Walker II and Howard Tagert Walker; his mother, Juanita Walker; two sisters, Susan Hogan and Sally Yandall; and one grandchild.

She is survived by one son, William Ward of Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Julie Campbell of Henderson, and Jewell Hawthorne of Porterville, Calif.; two sisters, Erma Pratt of Bentonville, Ark., and Carol Russell of Phoenix; two brothers, Lyle Smith of Winslow, Ariz., and David Smith of Tempe, Ariz.; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by one daughter, Fredreka Washington, and one son, Fredrick Ray Washington, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Josephine Turner, his father, Jessie Charles Washington Jr., and two brothers, Jessie Charles Washington III and Anthony Lamark Washington, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Jack Edward Wasson, 80, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 2, 1916, in Kansas. A 32-year resident, he was a retired operating engineer, a retired Navy chief petty officer and World War II veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Glenn Wasson of Nevada, and Gary Wasson of Arizona.

Patricia Willis, 77, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 19, 1919, in Sheridan, Wyo. A 46-year resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by six daughters, Kathleen Godfrey and Dorene Willis, both of Portland, Ore., Arlene Tharp of Las Vegas, Mamie Thompson of Henderson, and Lora Willis and Mary Johnson, both of North Las Vegas; three sons, Edwin Willis of North Las Vegas, Loyd Willis of Las Vegas, and Paul Willis of Pahrump; three sisters, Lela Jones of Sevier, Utah, Vivian Broadway of Las Vegas, and Katrina Hall of Pahrump; one brother, Larkin Smith of Henderson; 69 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
