A cruise night is set for Friday at the Vacation Village hotel-casino as part of "Collector Car Week."
The event will feature about 150 vintage automobiles. They will gather from 7 to 10 p.m. in the front parking lot of the resort at 6711 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
There is no charge for participants wanting to display their classic cars and no admission charge for spectators.
Music from the 1950s through the 1970s will be played to add to the atmosphere of the event, said Hugh Cunningham, spokesman for Vacation Village.
The Nevada Legislature recently declared the last week in April as Collector Car Week.
"The restoration and exhibition of automobiles from our past is an activity that promotes cooperation and strengthens friendships," the Assembly and Senate said in a joint resolution.
