Monday, April 21, 1997 | 11:59 a.m.
The body of Darla Eldredge, 53, of Salt Lake City was located about 100 yards from the main wreckage in some three feet of snow, the National Park Service said.
Crews also recovered in recent days a wing and tail section of the Cessna 210.
The body of husband James Eldredge, 55, was found April 11, nine days after the plane flying over the Grand Canyon disappeared from the radar screen.
The plane went down April 2 about seven miles north of the developed North Rim area of the canyon. The wreckage was found April 6.
The plane was en route from Wichita, Kan., to Las Vegas, Nev. Its last known stop was for fuel in Las Vegas, N.M. The Eldredges also had a home in North Las Vegas.
The National Transportation Safety Boards is planning to move the wreckage to Phoenix where officials will complete their investigation. Poor weather has been mentioned as a possible cause.
