More than 10,000 youths have registered to participate in this year's games. The games are designed for youngsters who traditionally are unable to participate in sporting, educational and cultural events.
The games will allow Las Vegas youngsters between the ages of seven and 17 to participate in clinics and competitions at neighborhood sites throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
The program was founded in Los Angeles by actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and is now carried out in a dozen cities.
