Admission to this concert is free and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, founded in 1993, is sponsored by the Amadeus School of Music and is conducted by Maestro Rodolfo Fernandez, who donates his services as music director. In addition, students receive tutorial assistance from DeAnn Burger, concertmaster; Mary Trimble, viola; and Barbara Gurley, cello, all of whom are principals of the Nevada Chamber Symphony.
Pieces performed on the concert will include "The Roumanian Dances" by Bartok and the Overture in D by Haydn. In addition, Kaila Potts, violin soloist, will be featured in "Winter" from Vivaldi's 11Four Seasons" and in the Telemann Concerto for Four Violins along with Joseph Baker, Emily Reeder and Tim Fawcett.
Funding for this performance has been provided by the Nevada Chamber Symphony with the assistance and support of the Violin Outlet. Membership in the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra is free and open to all interested students at regular auditions.
