Teen sought in shooting

Clark County School District Police are seeking the public's help in finding a 14-year-old boy wanted in a drive-by shooting two months ago at Rancho High School.
Martin Hernandez, a k a "Flaco," is considered by authorities to be armed and dangerous. He was identified as the gunman in a Feb. 20 incident in which a carload of youths drove past the school at 1900 E. Owens Ave. and fired multiple rounds, grazing one boy's inner thigh, before fleeing the area.
Upon his arrest, Hernandez will be charged with two counts of attempted murder with a deadly weapon and nine counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Hernandez is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 2 and 100 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a possible burn mark on his scalp.
Anyone with information on Hernandez's whereabouts is asked to call the school police investigations bureau at 799-7830, Ext. 222 or 223. Anonymous tips can be called in to 799-0228.
