Monday, Sept. 30, 1996 | 11:59 a.m.
On Oct. 13, the guest speaker will be Dick Wilson, known to millions as Mr. "Please Don't Squeeze the Charmin" Whipple. In addition to those famed TV commercials, Wilson, a Las Vegas resident, has performed numerous serious character roles in a long and distinguished career.
Wilson will be teaching a workshop on TV commercial acting, from 1-5 p.m. Oct. 13, at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St.
On Sunday, Nov. 3, the conservatory will hold another free session, open to the public. This time, Harvey and Catherine Kalmenson, who operate Kalmenson & Kalmenson, a voiceover casting agency, will discuss modern techniques of voice acting. They will also talk about the business of voice acting in today's high-tech environment.
This session will be from 1-5 p.m., also at the Charleston Heights Arts Center. For updated information on this and other events, call the SAG Hotline at 226-5620.
