William Howard Wheeler, 76, of Las Vegas, died Monday in a local convalescent center. He was born April 23, 1920, in Colorado Springs, Colo. A one-year resident, he was a television and radio repair shop owner in Denver, a truck driver, an Army and Air Force veteran, a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor.
He is survived by one daughter, Joyce Bouza of Centralia, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
