Obituary: Robert H. Hayes

Robert H. Hayes, 61, of Las Vegas, died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 28, 1935, in Scottsbluff, Neb. An 18-year resident, he was an electrician and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 396.
He is survived by his wife, Mammie Charlene; two sons, Robert D. Hayes of Las Vegas, and Dennis Hayes of Henderson; one brother, Chuck Hayes of Moses Lake, Wash.; two sisters, Darlene Montaine of Tacoma, Wash., and Rozella Damm of Moses Lake; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. A private burial will follow.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
