Indian Springs Prisoner Escapes While with Work Crew in Las Vegas

Gerardo Andrew, 31, was working near Desert Inn and Interstate 15 when he left, Nevada Department of Prisons spokesman Howard L. Skolnik said. Andrew was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.

Andrew began serving a 16- to 60-month sentence for burglary from Clark County on May 6 at the Indian Springs Conservation Camp.

He is a 5-foot-7, 200-pound hispanic man with brown hair, brown eyes and a tattoo on his right arm that says "Raynell."
