Obituary: JOHN ALLEN SR.

He is survived by his companion, Mary Randolph, two daughters, Herkey L. Scott and Barbara Allen, and three sons, John Allen Jr., Willie Allen and Robert Allen, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Lillie B. Turner and Annie Lee Watson, both of Tallulah, La.; four brothers, Jessie Allen of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Arthur Banks, Sylvester Banks and Charlie Banks Sr., all of Las Vegas; 33 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled from 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Evergreen Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
