Homework Hotline heating up again
Thursday, Sept. 19, 1996 | 11:59 a.m.
By dialing 799-5111, the "Homework Hotline," students can get help in any subject at any grade level. About 80 percent of calls concern math questions. Teachers and student workers staff the phone lines to help students with their homework questions.
The Homework Hotline season continues through May 22. Students may call in their questions from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
Some questions are carried live on the "Homework Hotline" television show, which can be seen on Channel 10's closed-circuit network to schools at after-school Safekey sites and on Prime Cable Channel 4. The live show airs from 4-5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
Homework Hotline is made available to students through the School Community Partnership Program in cooperation with Prime Cable.
