StumbleCounty balks at water study

The University of Nevada, Reno professors who designed the study have applied for state funding, but won't know if they are successful until November. The commission decided to hold off any decision on its part until then.
County Administrator Kerry Hawkins said the county already has a well sampling program in Grass Valley. But Dean Adams, an investigator on the planned study, said there are not enough data to draw any conclusions.
