Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1996 | 11:59 a.m.
The public will get a chance to see and discuss the proposed frontage road system designed to improve access to the Las Vegas Boulevard resort corridor.
The public hearing will be from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Clark County Fire Training Center at 4425 W. Tropicana Ave. It is sponsored by the Clark County Public Works Department, the Nevada Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration, and the Regional Transportation Commission.
The proposed improvements include an exit ramp from Interstate 15 at Russell Road that segues into a four-lane arterial road running parallel to I-15, and three east-west roads connecting the access road to Las Vegas Boulevard.
