The Corporation for Solar Technology and Renewable Resources has announced its first of planned annual conferences for Dec. 10-11 at the Sheraton Desert Inn.
The conference, "Maximizing Solar Resources: Challenges & Opportunities in the State of Nevada," is designed to find solutions to obstacles faced by renewable energy technologies, said Rose McKinney-James, CSTRR president and CEO.
CSTRR is also ready to partner businesses with interests in such technologies.
The event will update the successes of CSTRR's first year, the challenges encountered by CSTRR in commercializing solar and renewable technologies and ways to effectively address those challenges.
CSTRR is a private, nonprofit corporation established to promote commercial solar technologies and advancing the renewable energy industry in Nevada.
The corporation's primary role is to assist in the construction and operation of solar power generating projects and related manufacturing ventures.
The expected cost of attending the conference is $225 per person.
