Obituary: Ruth J. Foster

Ruth J. Foster, 52, of Las Vegas, died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 4, 1944, in Wilmington, Del. A 15-year resident, she was a retired office manager for a government base exchange.

She is survived by her husband, Gene; three daughters, Joan Langdon of Shreveport, La., and Jean Morgan and Lisa Pickens, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Joan Schellenberg of Las Vegas; one sister, Janice Johnson of Kannapolis, N.C.; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. A private burial will follow.
