Monday, Oct. 7, 1996 | 11:59 a.m.
Dylan's music covers a realm of styles including ballads, blues, rock and folk, with songs like "Just Like a Woman," "Tombstone Blues," "Seven Days," "It Ain't Me, Babe" and "My Back Pages."
Shepherd's main influences are Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, Albert Collins, Muddy Waters and Albert King. Shepherd later met and and jammed with many of these heroes, which catapulted his career. In 1995, he and his band opened for the Eagles at Austin's Memorial Stadium.
Shepherd co-wrote more than half the songs on his album, "Ledbetter Heights," including the instrumental title cut.
Show time is 8 p.m., and tickets are $24.50 and $35 in advance, $26.50 and $37 on the day of the show, and can be purchased at any Primadonna Resorts' box office or by calling TicketMaster, 474-4000. Buffalo Bill's is located at the Nevada-California border off Interstate 15.
