The visitor count is expected to be up 4 percent from last year's figure of 183,000.
But the dollars spent will be up 14 percent, according to estimates by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Last year the non-gaming economic impact was $81.2 million.
The higher figures are due, in part, to 5 percent more hotel rooms being available in the city - 94,700 this year compared to 89,723 a year ago.
Hotel-motel occupancy is expected to run 93 percent over the holiday weekend, compared to 92.7 percent a year ago.
