The redshirt freshman from Green Valley was named Pacific Division Offensive Player of the Week after passing for 503 yards and four touchdowns in UNLV's 44-42 upset of San Diego State Saturday at Sam Boyd Stadium.
Denton set several NCAA and school records and gave the Rebels their first win of the season, halting the nation's longest losing streak at 12 games.
Denton had earned the same honor after throwing for 486 yards against Wyoming on Sept. 28.
