Well, like many others, I was unhappy with the long lines. I believe when so many questions are voted on, a separate election should be held. I'm disappointed with the outcome of the presidential election. I don't believe Clinton is good for Nevada or the country.
Wayne Walker, Construction estimator
It is important to remember that it's a privilege to vote. Our candidates don't always win, but the end result reflects a system of checks and balances. My brother was elected councilman in Green Bay, Wis. I like to think that one vote he won by was mine.
Mary Ann Warpinski, Real estate broker
Although I don't always agree with the candidates or their policies, I believe in the process and would never want to change it. That's what makes American and I'm proud to be a part of it. Our election equipment has problems, it's still better than the old manual process.
Ron Wilkins, Senior account executive
The election year '96 outcome was not a surprise. Bob Dole's statement that it does not take a village to raise a child made the outcome a landslide. Bob is really out of touch with the American people. Better hunting, Bob!
Philbert Wilson, Lockheed Martin employee
