Rison, a four-time Pro Bowl receiver when he played in the run-and-shoot offense of the Atlanta Falcons, never delivered the kind of game the Jaguars hoped he would when they signed him the day before training camp started.
He was third among Jacksonville receivers with 34 receptions for 458 yards and two touchdowns.
