The Clark County School District's theme for this year's observance of American Education Week, which begins today and ends Saturday, is "The Future Begins in Today's Schools."
Bookmarks printed with the school district's theme, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, will be distributed to elementary school students. Local television commercials, sponsored by the Clark County Classroom Teachers Association, will air throughout the week.
