Turkey Shoot on schedule

Residents, ages 8 to adult, will get eight shots from an air rifle to claim the first-place prize of the day: a Thanksgiving turkey.

Divisions are determined by age, and events will be Nov. 15 and 16 at Black Mountain Recreation Center, 599 Greenway Road; Nov. 18 and 19 at Lorna J. Kesterson Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St.; Nov. 20 and 21 at the Henderson Youth Center, 105 Basic Road; and Nov. 22 and 23 at Silver Springs Recreation Center, 1951 Silver Springs Parkway.

The cost is 50 cents per turn. Call 565-2880 for times and more information.
