Nevada Symphony to perform classics
Guest conductor Sidlin comes to Las Vegas from Portland, Ore., where he is the resident conductor for the Oregon Symphony. He has conducted regularly throughout the country and abroad, including hundreds of opera appearances. Sidlin is a recognized spokesman on "demystifying" symphony orchestras and has been featured on the "Today" show, "Good Morning America" and CBS' "Sunday Morning."

Karen Maureen Wheeler, 29, was taken into custody Thursday at 3075 E. Tropicana Ave. Authorities said they were able to track the woman down after receiving a tip from an anonymous caller who recognized Wheeler after her photo was published in the local media.
