Sale set for Opportunity Village

Tuesday, May 14, 1996 | 11:59 a.m.

Nearly $200,000 worth of silk flowers and trees, in addition to designer clothing, televisions and thousands of other household items, will be for sale at reduced prices.

The Opportunity Village thrift stores in Las Vegas and Henderson will be participating in this event.

"This sale will serve a dual purpose," said Linda Smith, Opportunity Village's director of marketing and development. "This event will not only help us move our stock and raise money for Southern Nevadans with mental retardation, but will also allow us to offer some bargains to the community which has so faithfully supported us for over 40 years."

The Las Vegas store, 921 S. Main St., and the Henderson location, at 538 S. Boulder Highway, will both be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For more information, call the Las Vegas store, 383-1082, or the Henderson store, 564-7128.
