Judge frees brothers in porn case

A federal judge has released two former Las Vegas brothers charged with trading child pornography over the Internet and possessing video tapes and literature of minors in sexual poses.
U.S. Magistrate Roger Hunt freed the two men Thursday on personal recognizance bonds, or their words that they would appear for future court hearings.
Douglas Anderson, 42, and Ross Anderson, 45, were named Wednesday in a six-count indictment that alleged transporting child pornography, possession of child pornography and forfeiture of computer equipment.
Authorities claim the brothers' alleged activity in September 1994 was recorded in an undercover FBI investigation called Operation Innocent Images.
The nationwide probe resulted in a number of arrests and raids on 125 homes and businesses, including the Anderson residence in Las Vegas.
The brothers are expected to return to court Thursday for an initial appearance.
