Nevada firms make Business Week list

Five Nevada companies -- four of them based in Las Vegas -- have been named to the 11th annual Business Week 1000 ranking of the nation's 1,000 most valuable companies.
Companies' rankings, in today's edition of the magazine, and their market values are:
* Mirage Resorts Inc. ranked 307th with a market value of $4.251 million, up from 431st last year.
* Circus Circus Enterprises, 374th ($3.279 million, up from 417th).
* International Game Technology of Reno, 611th ($1.867 million, down from 504th).
* MGM Grand Inc., 670th ($1.622 million, down from 632nd).
* Nevada Power Co., 942nd ($1.015 million, down from 863rd).
