How the Las Vegas City Council voted Wednesday to spend tax dollars:
* $2 million to Digital Equipment Corp. of Phoenix for leasing personal computers, software and maintenance.
* $458,450 to Quality Manufacturing Inc. of Talladega, Ala., for a 100-foot aerial ladder fire rig.
* $353,848 to Las Vegas Paving Corp., for improvements to the Charleston Heights park site.
* $183,999 to McCoy Miller of Alamogordo, N.M., for two rescue/trauma rigs.
* $61,800 to Linden Computer Services of Las Vegas, for data-entry services.
* $59,595 to Compair Southern California, of Sante Fe Springs, Calif., for a 40-horsepower air compressor.
* $46,685 to McCain Traffic Supply of Tempe, Ariz., for vehicle preemption equipment that allows emergency vehicles to change traffic lights with a flashing strobe.
* $40,027 to Electronic Specialists Inc. to furnish and install electronic surveillance equipment at the City Hall jail.
* $4,362 in a contract modification to R.G.C. Construction Inc. for additional insulation needed in the ceiling of the sun room at the Las Vegas Senior Center.
* $2,011 to STG Enterprises in a supplemental purchase order to provide carpet and vinyl flooring materials for the remodeling of the 10th floor of City Hall.
* $1,250 in a contract modification to Eddie General Construction for removing quarry tile and installing carpet at the Chuck Minker Sports Complex office.
