He is survived by his wife, Gloria; two daughters, Pauline Kratz of Las Vegas, and Jeri Arrendo of San Diego; four sons, James Mettler and Paul Mettler Jr., both of Las Vegas, Ronald Mettler of Granite, Okla., and Donald Mettler of Oceanside, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled from 8-10:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. A graveside committal service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
