StumblePhone Line Cut Between Elko and Carlin

Bill Featham, a spokesman for Citizens Telecom, said the fiber optic cable was inadvertently sliced by a construction crew working in Elko.
The line was restored by 10 a.m.
The cable links Citizens Telecom to a network of worldwide communications via Reno.
Customers who use AT&T were not affected, Featham said.
