Nevadans for Equal Access, a group that promotes the civil rights of handicapped people, sued two Las Vegas companies as part of an ongoing Americans with Disabilities campaign.
The organization and members Joyce Spavin and Michael Persi filed two lawsuits Thursday against Financial Association C.M.B. Inc. and Remak Liability Corp.
Attorneys for the plaintiffs said the buildings are inaccessible to people in wheelchairs. They are not seeking monetary damages, only compliance with federal law.
