Milestones in the life of Virginia Hadland:
* BORN: Virginia Thatcher, Jan. 6, 1906, in Logan, Utah.
* EDUCATION: Attended high school in Logan.
* MARRIAGE: Ken Hadland, 1958. He died in 1968.
* ORGANIZATIONS: Helped form the local chapter of the SPCA and later became president of the organization.
* HIGHLIGHT: She was once given an acorn, which she planted and nurtured at a residence on 13th street. It grew into a mighty oak tree that still stands today, towering greater than 30 feet over the neighborhood.
* RETIREMENT: 1968.
* DIED: July 10 in Las Vegas.
