He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Janet Duffield of Las Vegas, and Julie Duffield of Long Beach, Calif.; three sons, John Duffield and Jeff Duffield, both of Las Vegas, and Jim Duffield and his wife Magy of Salinas, Calif.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nell and Harvey Martin of Henderson; and three grandsons, Andrew Weir of Tustin, Calif., and James Michael Duffield and Patrick John Duffield, both of Salinas.
He is being buried with full military honors at a private service in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling private arrangements.
