StumbleBoss at Nellis eyes promotion

Nellis Air Force Base commander Gen. Richard Bethurem has been selected to command NATO's Allied Air Forces Southern Europe and the 16th Air Force in Naples, Italy.
Bethurem, who has been at Nellis since July 1994, also has been nominated for a promotion to the rank of lieutenant general.
Chosen to replace Bethurem as commander is Maj. Gen. Marvin Esmond, commander of the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz.
The changes are expected within the next month.
