Letter: Voter disgust increasing over missteps during election
Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1996 | 11:59 a.m.
We work in a faster paced, efficiency-demanding world and are simply too busy for further annoyace -- unlike those jollys who chatted away the hours in line as if they had all day to once again reinstate, renew, reaffirm and be reassured of their ricebowl/gravy train for the next several years.
Consistently behind the curve, that hapless woman in charge needs to accept responsibility and resign, in hope of restoring some credibility to the office, lest we witness a titanic mutiny of an already recalcitrant electorate.
Indeed, what's needed here is a pro-active helmsperson, not some pedantic apologist.
Let me here register my vote of no confidence.
