LV Civic Ballet to present ‘Holiday Collage’ shows

Performances will continue at 8 p.m. Saturday and Dec. 13-14 and at 2 p.m. Sunday and Dec. 14-15. Advance tickets are $8, $6 for students, seniors and the disabled. Tickets at the door are $10 and $8.
Celebrating its 15th season, the civic ballet brings to the stage a program of classical dance. The company will be featured en pointe in "Gift of the Magi," choreographed by Jacqueline Koenig, along with a variety of dance styles in "Christmas Wish."
Karen Yee has choreographed a lyrical piece called "Christmas Homage" which will highlight two senior members of the company.
Christina Patelidas' piece, "A Joyous Celebration to You -- From Santa's Helpers," features seven company members performing solo and a duo.
Guest artist Joey Sandra will perform the role of Jim in "Gift of the Magi."
