Obituary: Whitney J. LeMaire

Whitney J. LeMaire, 66, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1929, in Gueydan, La. A 30-year resident, he was a casino manager and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by a daughter, Trinette Purcell of Las Vegas; two sons, Craig Ghelfi of Las Vegas and Joe LeMaire of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a sister, Marilyn Perry of Clute, Texas; a brother, Elwood LeMaire of Melrose Park, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will 1 p.m. Sunday at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be private.
